I'm trying to trace the family (children and other descendants) of Frank Herbert Bilby who was born in London on 29 September 1895 and died, probably in Victoria, Australia in 1961. I'm working on a PhD about the artist Sidney Nolan who was a Corporal in Frank's army unit which was posted in the Wimmera district of Victoria during the Second World War. Frank was a Captain and Nolan's commanding officer. I'm interested in seeing photos of Frank, his service documents, and hearing stories of his war experience which have passed down to his family, particularly any concerning Nolan. If you can't help me with my research but know a family member who can I would greatly appreciate receiving his or her details. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
