The Bigsby Name...

Hello All: My name is Stephanie D. Bigsby-Jones. I am searching for relatives on my father's side of the family (Bigsby). My father's name is Horace Bigsby, Jr., who was married to my mother, Geraldine Sheila Powell(deceased). Both of my parents grew up in Montclair, New Jersey. My father had a brother, Butch Bigsby (deceased). Butch was married to Ivy and they had two children, David and Nicole Bigsby who live in California. I have a brother William Bigsby, Sr. My grandfather (my father's father) was originally from Chicago and his name was Horace Bigsby, Sr. My grandfather was married twice: first to my grandmother Eva, and then to Sue. Eva is my maternal grandmother. I think I remember my grandfather stating that he had a sister in Chicago or Connecticut. My grandfather's side of the family is African American, but I know there are Bigsbys in Chicago who are Caucasian - I have no doubt that we are related. From what I have found on the Internet, Bigsby is a British name. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Peace and blessings to you and yours!!
