After reading many of the postings at this web site, I find it amazing how small this world really is and how close I am to many of the people and places mentioned, but yet so far away. My name is Steve Bigler, Born in WV. on Dec. 6, 1953. I was raised in Garrett Co. Maryland, I have lived in Monroe Co. Ohio, Marion & Wetzel Co. West Virginia, even lived in China for a number of years. For the past decade I have worked and traveled throughout central PA. places such as Harrisburg, York and Clearfield to mention a few, yet I never encounter anyone by the last name of Bigler. We are so few but yet there are so many of us. I know very little of my roots, nothing more then just my parents, grandparents, siblings and a few aunts, uncles and cousins. However, I have not seen any names mentioned that I am familar with. So I can only sumize that I may possibly be part of a different line of Bigler's.
