My grandmother Lucille Bigler Ernes, I think was born in Monroe County, Ohio, and I'm sure she grew up there. She had two sisters, Anna Bigler Ishmael, and Addie Bigler. All three died and are buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va. Lucille married Frank Ernes and lived in Wheeling, W.Va. He was a coal miner and mine supervisor. They had a daughter, Marion Ernes Johnson Blum, my mother (1925-1984) and a son, Quintin, who died at birth a couple years before my mother was born. Anna Ishmael married Steve Ishmael and had a son, Steve, who still lives in Lansing, Ohio.
I remember my mother talking about her uncle Andy Bigler
and that her grandmother's name was Anna Christiana.
If anyone can help me with the family history, I'd be greatly appreciative. I can add information on the family from the Wheeling, W.Va. connection to your records.
