Hello, Mike!

Thanks for your posting to my query. I was hoping that we could locate parents for Adam, and a more definite connection for his siblings... but your information is so helpful to me! Thank you very much.

I have researched marriage records for Sumner County TN 1787-1838, and find Adam Biggs was a bondsman for the marriage of Polly Biggs and her groom, James Anderson on September 13, 1817. So, here we have a female Biggs and it appears that she could be Adam's sister.

The names of Adam's children is a mystery to me other than his last four sons: David Biggs (b. 1827), Andrew Jackson Biggs (b. 1833), Larkin Biggs (b. 1837), and Alfred Biggs (b. 1840).

On the 1860 census of Green County, MO all four of these sons are listed as born in TN.

Larkin Biggs (1837-1917) was my gg-grandfather.
