Trying to find parents of Dr. Reuben Biggs b. 03 April, 1803?? lived in
Louisa, Ky. He lived there several decades, married to Catherine Grubb,
divorced 1860, took up with Sarah J. Hall, may never have married, but
had another family by her. He was still alive in 1880 census, served as
Coroner of Lawrence County. His son, James Harvey (Harve) Biggs married
Martha (Jane) Belcher in Wayne County, Kentucky. Their son, Reuben Biggs,
my g-grandfather lived in Carter County, born 1860---died in Knox County,
Indiana, after following the coal mines, there. Any help would be appreciated.
I believe that Reuben was brother or nephew of Douglas Biggs of Lawrence
County and Susannah Biggs Crank of Greenup County. Any help you can give
me would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Keevin Biggs
