I don't know if it is the same James Biggs, but it is the first and only one I have heard of born in Ohio! The time frame is right--James Freeman Biggs born Sept. 15, 1825 in Ohio. Married 8-12-1852 to Almira Vandeventer also born in Ohio. Now, if we could find a Vandeventer family in Ohio....we could be pretty sure. She was born in 1837 in Ohio.
