So I,ve found Isaiah,s parents. I thought all along he was a son of Josiah and Mahala Porter Garrison.
My Isaiah was born July 29, 1827. His obituary reads,"When a mere lad his parents removed from Ohio to Williamsport, Indiana, where he grew to manhood and was married. In the year 1856, with his family he came to Hamilton county, Iowa, where he resided until 1865.
I have much information about him.
