There must have been two John Biggs'. The 13th VA became the 9th and then the 7th. To add to the confusion there were TWO 9th and 7th Regiments. The first ones were captured by Cornwallis in North Carolina. There is a dandy little book about all this. When I discover where I have stashed it I'll let you know.
