The material is available in the Virginia State Library and probably at the DAR Library as well. There is a book that details the location of all of the post war land grants. The grant probably was around Cincinnati, Ohio. At least, that's where his brother Benjamin's parcel was. (Benjamin was my 3Great Grandfather.
John was a Captain, as was Benjamin. John died at the Crawford Massacre.
