We have always been told that there was Native American in our family. It was first thought that Mary Clementine Love was 100% Cherokee but the Love family has proven not to be the line. Permelia Angeline Shipman, Mary' mother, is still being researched. But it is my strong belief that it came from the BRIM/SMITH/BIGGS side of the family. I still looking. I just found Mary A F Smith's mothers full name of Piety Biggs. But at least we have something to go on. cjm
