Hello One and ALL. I am holding Documentation for the following statements: The David Biggs, born about 1777 in North Carolina, and Frances that moved from N.C. to TN., KY., and into MO. in and around Laclede County, MO., by 1843 or 1844 was a Wheel-Wright {Wagon maker} by trade and had a large family. We were not able to get any further back than David Biggs, b: about 1777 N.C. and I do believe I have found out why! Yes, there are a few that post his parents as John Biggs or Joseph Biggs and even others, but that is only speculation in my book now. DNA hasn't PROVEN who his True parents are yet and only DNA can sort it out. I am a 6th generation descendant of the above David Biggs, born about 1777, then son Hardy Biggs, born about 1815 in TN. and his 1st WIFE, [Name unknown at this time.], {Yes! Hardy was married Twice.} 2nd wife is Elizabeth Tilley, not Smith as everyone shows. I have Albert's Death Certificate that state his mother is Elizabeth Tilley. Albert is the 1st child of 2nd marriage on 1850 Census. My Great Grandfather, Andrew Allen Biggs, son of Hardy Biggs’ 1st marriage is listed on same Census and reported as 'Other children belonging to William' in most cases. I don't know how this came about, but someone didn't figure it out right! [Andrew Allen and older children are Hardy's 1st set of children by 1st wife.] I have attempted to Correct this, but no one wants to take another look at it just yet for some reason. Andrew Allen Biggs son, Hardie Biggs, born 1870 in Laclede Co., MO., is my GF. My Dad, son of Hardie/Hardy Biggs is Edgar Biggs, and then me, Edgar Ralph Biggs. [This is my Direct lineage line back to David Biggs, b: abt. 1777 in N.C.] Here is what I am stating: Fact: In November 2005, I - Edgar Ralph Biggs - was given a 'photo copy' that stated: David Biggs was born a Manning and took the name of his step-father. [My source passed away in Nov. 2006.] Fact: I searched for -5- Years to confirm or deny this statement and got no response. Fact: In April 2010, I submitted my DNA to Family Tree DNA. I soon got an e-mail response as follows: Mr. Biggs, you have no connection with any Biggs family for any Biggs lineal Blood line. Is there any other possibility? *** Since I am holding a 'photo copy' that stated David Biggs was born a Manning, I told them that I could NOT Prove this, but try it through Manning DNA database. Fact: I later received an e-mail stating: Mr. Biggs urr Mr. Manning, You are "Manning" lineal Blood line." Documentation to follow by mail. Fact: I waited till I got my Hard Copy and then called my Cousins and advised them of what I had found out. No, I don't have a web-site. Yes, I have told others, but have yet to see anything posted for a Correction change of information on David "Manning" Biggs. Fact: I am now ready to disclose this on any an ALL web sites. I will try to get this Posted on all Posting of the David Biggs, b: abt 1777 in N.C. that I can find this next week. If, and when you decide to post it, I ask that you post it with the following Notation: Authority: Edgar Ralph 'Manning' Biggs [Documented by DNA.] -- {I Would appreciate it.} Thank you, -- Edgar Ralph 'Manning' Biggs Notify Administrator about this message?
