My Biggs family lived in Bandon, Co. Cork,
Ireland...there was a bunch of them, including a Jeremiah, around 1800 and earlier...he was a clothier. Another Jeremiah was a dry goods merchant. Other family members were also in these businesses. Sheila, do your Biggs references go to Ireland at all? I am looking for Isaac Biggs, (and daughter Eunice, she was born c. 1805) of Bandon, who died (I think) about 1837. Would surely appreciate a look-up!
