I am trying to find out information about the Biggs family that resisded in Mifflin Twp. Allegheny Co. Pennsylvania
I have a will of John Biggs. Filed Dec 22, 1827. It lists John's wife, and executrix, as Mary Biggs.
It lists his estate/land as residing betwen the properties of Abram and Isaac Whitaker, in Mifflin Twp.
His will was divided between his wife and his children as follows:
Mary Biggs (wife) 2 lots (30acres) lowere end of my farm joining Isaac Whitaker farm.
Use of a 1/3 part of a 15 acre lot at the upper end of my farm joining the Abram Whitaker farm.
Son, Alexander Biggs 15 acre lot at the upper end of my farm joining Abram Whitaker.
Alexander Biggs to receive a gray mare now on the farm.
Son, William Biggs the middle 15 acres at the death of my wife.
Son, Aaron Biggs the lower lot of 15 acres at the death of my wife.
(Three lots to be divided to give each a equal share on the river.)
Daughter, Emily Biggs to receive 2 cows and her feather bed.
Son, John Biggs Jr. to receive 1 dollar.
Daughter, Diana Biggs to receive 1 dollar.
Daughter, Sharloote (possibly Chatlotte) Biggs to receive 1 dollar.
Daughter, Mary Biggs to receive 1 dollar.
Daughter, Julian Biggs to receive 1 dollar.
Daughter, Martha Biggs to receive 1 dollar.
Does there happen to be any information about these children and ther families? The resided in the Whitaker Boro. of Mifflin Township, in Allegheny County.
