Debbie: I wonder if we can be of any help to one another. My ancestor, Dr. Reuben Biggs was born in April, 1803, lived in Lawrence Co., Kentucky, married 1st-Catherine Grubb and had several children--divorced about 1860, took up with Sarah J. Hall, who was evidently after his money and had another family with her. I am descended from his son with Catherine--James Harvey Biggs *(Harve)who married Martha Jane Belcher--had a son, Reuben, b. 1860 and lived in Carter County, until early 1890s, went to Mountain View, Arkansas, and Independence, Missouri, for about 10 years, then back to Kentucky. He followed the coal mines into Indiana with his children, one of whom was my granfather, George Biggs, who married Myra Mabel Henson in Pike County, Indiana and lived in Knox County, Indiana. Their son was my father, Norman (Jumbo) Biggs b. 8 July 1919, and married my mother Betty Ann Barnett. Maybe we can help each other.
Keevin
