Robert, The first census that I have of James B. Barlow and his wife Sarah is in 1850 in Marshall county, Ms. James is 55 from N.C. and Sarah is 38 from N.C. wither children Purmanio 18 nc, Ann 15, Nc., Alexander 12 nc., Elijah 10 Tn Bolata M. 9 Ms. and James M. 6 months Ms. We come thru James M. Barlow. In 1860 James B. is not listed. Just Sarah 48 a Jackson T 38 Ann J. 23, Alexander 21, Elijah A. 18, Baldy (Bolata) 16, James. M. 14, and William 4. Do any of these names sound familiar or do you have any other ideas where I might search?
