' MADE MERRY WITH BRIDAL PARTY'

There was a merry bridal party at the Burlington Depot, Tuesday afternoon, which afforded passengers a lot of merriment. MR. C.E. ROUSH and bride, MISS INEZ BROWN, had driven to Leon, secured a marriage license and were married by a minister from Lamoni, who accompanied them to this city. A number of their young friends also accompanied them to Leon and when the bridal party went to the Depot to take the afternoon train for Des Moines to spend their honeymoon, the mirthful friends used a very liberal supply of rice, and bridal party, Depot platform, passenger coaches and a good many passengers were also covered with the rice.
