BIGG, JAMES ALBERT>1860>TX

Family
folklore (census records also) has it that my GGgrandfather, James Albert Biggs b 02/29/1860 was from Panhandle, TX. I'm not sure if this meant in the panhandle of the town of panhandle, I haven't been able to confirm either.
His father was born in either TN or TX and of Scottish descent. His mother was suppose to be Kiowa Apache and died a few years after the birth of James Albert Biggs.
Relatives names were: a Cousin named Carroll male abt the same age, Brother named Buck, Aunt or sisters named, Zue or Zuwella, Luerette, Nellie and someone by the name of Monroe.
Again family lore has it that in 1884 Carroll and James hopped a freight train bound for St Louis, Carroll made it there and James ended up in Memphis where he settled and raised a family. James left home because of his step-mother.
Hope something sounds familiar!
