Thanks for your followup, David. This could account for the three Biggs husbands of the Ward daughters: Joseph married Sarah, William married Milly, and Kedar married Hannah.
What is it that makes you say "this Joseph is obviously not the well known Joseph Sr."? Joseph Sr., father of Kedar et al., died around 1798. At least his undated will was entered in the Martin County will book around that time. In the will, the name of Joseph's wife was given as Sarah. It seems quite possible this was William Ward's daughter Sarah, and that Joseph Biggs Sr. married her after the death of first wife Margaret Eastwood.
Sarah Ward may have been quite a bit younger than Joseph. Although it would appear her (possibly younger) sister Hannah married Joseph's son Kedar, this would not have stood in the way of a marriage between Joseph and Sarah.
