Hi All! Trying to find Revolutionary - fore & Aft gaps:
William Gillespie from London (Irish?) to US in 1776(?)m. Jane Rankin from Scotland (Royal Stewart Line). Don't know if they m. here or there. Dau. Jane Gillespie.
John Biggs Sr. from Ireland m. Isobel Wilson from Ireland - in Tenn. He fought in the Revolution & War of 1812.
John II d.1-8-1878 married Jane Gillespie near Knoxville, Tenn March 5, 1815-d.7-5-1840-son John III
John III m. Mary__ ,bought plantation in Tenn & freed slaves, Pres. minister, moved to Columbia, KY 1844. Dau. Mary (Maria) Falistates Biggs (Lis)b. 7-5-1839 d. 4-1928
Lis m. George Alfred Bryant, Columbia, Adair Co, KY 7-26-1866, moved to Battsville, MO, 1878.
Anybody have anything else that fits!!?
