Allison,

Hi, we have communicated before on the Biggins's, but as yet I have been unable to link your Cambuslang branch with my Galston branch. There is also a Clydebank branch but as yet I have nothing much on where they came from. Did you ever hear back from Emma Biggins? She is indeed related to your line. I understand that her father Philip was the son of Philip BIGGINS and Mary REILLY. His father was also Philip BIGGINS, who was married to Mary GOLDIE. I can't remember where you are related within this clan but for sure you all stem originally from John BIGGINS and Helen DICKSON (aka DIXON). Do you know where in Ireland John BIGGINS (b:~1825) came from? My BIGGINS's came from Cahill, Co. Monaghan but I know there were many that came from the Ballinrobe area of Co. Mayo.

Hope to hear from you soon.........Kieran.
