Timothy Bigelow who may have been Indian

There is a Timothy Bigelow listed in the 1790 Worcester census as being from Sutton and a "person of color" living in a white household. Does anyone have a clue as to who he was? My GGGGGgrandmother was Mary Bigelow who married Jonathan Cook about 1758. The Cooks had Indian blood somewhere along the line, and my family seemed to think that the Bigelows did as well. Any info appreciated.
