Some information on our "first" immigrant ancestor, John Bigelow, is listed on the Bigelow Society web page. At the end of information on John Bigelow, it also includes the will of John Biglow where John leaves much of his estate to his wife Sarah. Of course, this does not answer John Chandler's original question: " Which Sarah Bemis?" I believe Bond is correct when he says that it is the daughter of Joseph Bemis, and not Joseph's widow Sarah. John Chandler suggests that it probably is the widow. Who do you think, and why? What is your source? Can anyone help solve this riddle? Thanks. Tim
