I know he was quite well know for the Bigelow Battery during the Civil War, but I haven't been able to locate the names of his parents. He was born 1841 died 1917. Enlisted as a private, April 24, 1861, in the 2nd Mass. Battery. Discharged Jan 19, 1865 as a Major. Thanks Barb Notify Administrator about this message?
