Mary Milvina was maternal grandmother of my great grandmother Adda Timmons Moss. During the 1890's, Adda collected information on the Bigelows. She had traced the family back to the first of the three Isaacs. Her information appears to have come from copies of Bible records and an interview with Dr. Eliphaz Bigelow, a nephew of Mary Milvina.Mary had been born in Ballston Spa or Springs NY and traveled with her family to Madison Co OH where in 1828 she had married William D. Daugherty. Her daughter Mary Dimmis (note middle name) was born there and in 1858 married Thomas Foster Timmons. After the births of their children, the families moved on to MO where most of them are reported to have died and are probably buried in Butler, Bates Co, MO. If anyone knows when and where these people died and are buried, please contact me. I have only some general information on their deaths and burials. I would also be willing to share information from Adda's notes--handwritten and not on computer, with anyone looking for information on the Bigelows of this line (the 3 Isaac's and Israel).
