Hi Kaitlin,
Thomas Biffin, born 1792 in West Lavington, Wiltshire, England from whom you are descended, went to Australia as a free immigrant with his wife and children in 1838 on the "Woodbridge." Richard, born in 1772, in West Lavington was Thomas's uncle, and my several times removed great grandfather. Thomas settled near Mittagong in NSW.
Thomas's youngest daughter Elizabeth, born in 1844, married Charles Bradman and they were the grandparents of Sir.Don Bradman.
There is a William Biffin who died in WW1 shown on the Canberra war memorial, am not sure where he fits in, but must be one of Thomas's descendants.
My email address is annebiffin@btinternet.com if you or anyone else would like to contact me. I did quite a bit of research in 1989, and visited someone near Mittagong who was listing all the early settlers in that area including the Biffins, Goodfellows and Webbs.
My late brother went to Australia in 1966 and his sons are now second generation Australians.
