hi, i am a grand daughter of joh. wilhelmus demmers, who was born in the netherlands in 1871. my grandfather's elder brother, lucas demmers, born in heerenveen, holland on 02.18.1869, emigrated to the u.s. in 1910, with oldest son, antonius johannes. His wife,elizabeth engel hommes, left holland for the u.s. in 1911. some 15 yrs ago leonard william demmers, from aberdeen SD, traveled to holland, he died in houston, texas, some 10 yrs ago. his wife borgie (from norway) occasionally writes to me
