According to the book, "Josiah Hopkins[d 1824 aet 70] had a house at or near no. 102 Popple Swamp Road, on the south side of Mine Mountain." So you are on the right track. I was pretty sure they had lived at Cornwall Bridge so I am glad you are able to verify that.
