Thanks for your response. I would be interested in more information about the William Bierce Bible that you mention. Do you have the Bible or know where it is? I would be most interested in seeing the original entries. Based on the information you gave, I can see why you hold the view you do of the Hezekiah/Shubael issue.

I think I probably was the one with the Philo entry that you tried to contact. We have moved several times since & had to change email addresses. Sometimes I forgot to go back and change the old one!!

Would you like a scan of William's tombstone or would you prefer a copy of the photograph? I can do either with no problem. If you want a copy, you will need to send me your mailing address which you can send to my email address instead of posting it here. Did you get the email I sent you to your email address? I wasn't sure I had copied it correctly.
