Olive Bienvenu married to Elias (Eli) Johndrow
I am hoping to find a family connection with my gggGrandmother Olive Bienvenu.I have no marriage record, I have no death records, just a church record from Portage des Sioux, Missouri ,and a death certificate for their son Wilbur (William) Johndrow from Madison County, Illinois.
Olive was born around 1821 (place unknown) and, according to the census was married living in Chester, Illinois in 1860.I am not totally clear about the children in the census being all their children but listed are:
Eli 8
Josephine 11
Joseph 4
Ferdinand 5
Abraham 4
William H 4/12
1870 Census lists children
Josephine 19
Eli 18
Joseph 17
Abram 11
Henry 10
Wilbert 7
Mary 5
Mary 18 (Eli's brother Joseph's dau)
Joseph 17 (Eli's brother Joseph's son)
The family lived in Portage des Sioux, Missouri according to the 1870 and 1880 census.
by the time of the 1900 census, Olive was living with her son Wilbur in Godfrey, Illinois.Under the column #of children, Olive lists having 6, so I wonder if Josephine belongs to somebody else or maybe Abraham died because he is the only one I cannot follow up on.I don't know about the 1900 census if you are to list how many children you had or how many you have are alive (to dumb to know).
Mary married Robert Lofts and also moved to Godfrey, Illinois.
Felix Eli married Sarah Bruce Campbell and moved to Alton, Illinois.
Wilbur married Maybe Duty but did have a first wife.
Henry (Herdinand) married Sophia Milford.
My ggGrandfather Joseph married Frances Rebecca Swift and ended up in Shipman, Illinois.
Any help would be great
