Hello fellow Bienvenu Descendents.
My name is Elaine Bienvenu, and I am married to William Bienvenu who is descended from Alexandre Devince Bienvenu, Sr. (brother of Pierre Antoine Jr. who fathered Antoine Bienvenu, Aristide's father).
William and I have 2 children, William Michael Bienvenu and Lucy Marie Bienvenu. I have been researching the family history and found this posting. I also found this article relating to the succession of the Aristide's estate. My father-in-law was Lionel J. Bienvenu, III, (died in 1992) and years ago, he did a lot of this research on the family. Unfortunately, all of his records were lost in the home of my mother-in-law, Patricia, due to Katrina. I am happy to see so much information available on this website.
