HI Donna,
This is Sharman Meck Carroll we corresponded on this site on Bowers/ Biehl .
I found the Ship, POrt, and arrival date that Joseph, Walburga, Maria Anna & Herman and the mother Pauline Bauer came on.
I have been updating Herman Bowers file and I just got Herman's wife Emma Jane Klemen obit and I had too read it twice. I thought some name mentioned were type 'O's.
Would you know it your Hattie Louisa Bowers Biehl had a step sister named Emma Jane Klemens ?
Her parents were Wm Klemens and Elizabeth Hand.
Elizabeth Hand Klemens remarried to Joseph Bowers. Elizabeth HAnd Klemens Bower daugther, Emman Jane Clements married Joseph's brother, Herman Bower.
According to Emma Jane Bowers nee Clemens obit mentions a brother Harry Bowers of Tremont, two sister Mrs Annie Bixler of Valley View and Mrs Hattie Biehl of Reading.
