Seeking information on the origins of the family of Zebulon Bidwell, b. ca. 1800, married Adeline Pullen of Oswego, NY in 1841. Census records find him in 1870 in Boylston, Oswego County, NY with wife and children, including son, Lewis, b. 1862. In 1880, he was listed in both the Oswego City census at his son Frank's home and in Boylston with his wife. In 1903 their anniversary is celebrated in Oswego, and they then travel to their daughter Delia Wheeler's home in Waterloo, Seneca County, NY. Zebulon dies there in 1906, Adeline in 1909. All sources indicate that Zebulon was from Quebec, but no specific area is mentioned. His death record states parents as Joseph and Mary (Augurice or Augevice - the 4th and 5th letters are hard to discern).

Son Lewis marries a Lucy Murray, who parents are immigrants from French Canada. Lewis dies in early 1920's in Oswego County; Lucy dies at the home of her daughter (married name Ward) in Hartford County, CT. Their daughter Julia, b. 1880, marries a George Wall, dies in late 1926.

Any connections would be great to find - they are a mystery to me!
