I don't know Rhoda Bidwell but have an Emily Bidwell age 13 born in MI listed on the 1850 census for Allen Twp, Noble Co, IN. She is living with Elijah and Sarah Sales (Sayles).

Sarah is the former wife of Seth Bidwell d. 1830 OH.

In Wayne Twp is Sarah's daughter, Caroline and her husband Rueben Ross and their family.

In 1870 Elijah and Rueben are gone and Sarah and Caroline are living in Wayne Twp. and Emily is no longer there, probably married as she would now be 23.
