Wow, well this is yet another mystery.Although there are several Isaacs in my Bedell family, none of your names match mine, although Talladega is not so far from Lee Co. (now Macon Co.) that there ould not be some link.I just cant' find it. I do know that there were 3 Bedells that arrived in the second set of settlers in Jamestown...Dorothy, who later married a Burwell, John and Gabriel, of whom I can find nothing more...they perhaps didn't survive.I have also found the following which I have not been able to fit into anything yet either...maybe it will help you though:
2John Frederick Dorman, Westmoreland County Virginia Deeds, Patents, etc Part One 1665-1677 (Washington, DC. 1973. Privately published), Pg 75, Library of Congress - Local History & Genealogy Room, Washington DC. "LIVING: Pg 16 (original page 287-88) 28 Dec 1663. John Tucker witnesses a deed from Thomas Bedell and Sarah his wife to John Smith. NOTE: He must have been at least 21 years of age to witness the deed. LIVING: Pg 75 (original page 26a-27) 8 Xbr 1668. Baldwin Shepeherd son of John Shepherd of Elizabeth City in Virginia to John Tucker of Cople Parish, Westmoreland County. 500 acres where John Tucker now lives, for 10,000 pounds of tobacco. Being one-half of a thousand acres left by will unto me, Baldwin Shepherd and Elizabeth Shepherd."
