the only info i have is what i was told by my mother and grand mother bessie and sally and ola hollifield were sisters ola was my great grand mother my mother used to go visit them in nc i have a picture of Kirby Biddix and his wife. this picture belonged to my great grand mother i have no dates on kirby or herby on the back of the picture is written (love to all from Kirby and Allie from Louisiana made friday september 22 and the year is cut off the picture but it had to be in 1900 some time because Kirby is wearing a army uniform or at least it looks army the picture is not in color.he looks to be have very fair skin and light hair his wife has her hair fixed like they used to in maybe the 40's or eariler and thats all i know they called sally( aunt sal) i saw her when i was young and she had fair skin and light hairthanks for the answer i also have a picture of a Jason Mckinneyi know the family was connected to washburn .mckinney,lowery,biddix,hollifield(holyfield), and carver families in nc these boys were most likely born there i never knew of Sally hollifield living any where else my mother tells me that most of my g grand mothers people were buried in grassy creek grave yard but i have never been there.
