Agnes >Lovell> wife of Zachary Bicknell?

I have been going over some of my early research on the families of Bicknell, Lovell, and related families and I am really puzzled over information with no sources cited that mention Agnes, wife of Zachary Bicknell: (1)was a Lovell or possibly is a Lovell (2) was a dau of a John Lovell and wife Elinore(?) (3) was a dau of Robert Lovell and wife Elizabeth. (4) md., after the death of her husband Zachary in 1636, to a Richard Rockwood before March 9, 1636 but did not have a child (Richard) by him until 1641? [ She would have been age 43]. (5) The VRs of Weymouth have the deaths of both herself and 1st husband Zachary – she was listed under the surname of Bicknell, “Agnes, w. Zachary---1643, age 45, in Braintree.” Why she was still called Bicknell and not Rockwood? (I found no deaths in Braintree VRs for Rockwood/Rockett and I see that supposedly her 2nd husband died in Dorchester even though his estate was inventoried and probated in Braintree)

Now and then some of what I have found/seen makes sense but others things throw it all out of kilter and I cannot really put it together. From where/whom did the idea come that she was born a Lovell? Ditto on the information for either sets of “parents” for her; who is John Lovell? I know she was not/could not be a d/o Robert Lovell and Elizabeth; I am descended from this couple; not only did they not have a dau. Agnes but Robert Lovell and his “sister” Agnes were only a few years apart in age. He did have a daughter Anne “b. near 1618” but this still does not fit the age of the wife of Zachary Bicknell. I have a feeling there are two separate ladies who make up this “wife” of Zachary Bicknell and the truth lies in being able to find facts to sort it all out. Savage has been known to be wrong and as for the Ancestral File ; do I have to say more?

Has someone been able to work with all of this and come up with a final answer as to who Agnes really was and about her 2nd marriage with Richard Rockwood, etc? I am totally confused by the mess I have found.. a real can of worms…
