Our branch of the Bicknell's came to Pierson, Montcalm County (near Grand Rapids) from Stephenstown, NY. In 1870 Hiram Sr's wife Anna, sons John & family and Hiram Jr. and wife Loretta were in Pierson. Hiram Jr. stayed in Pierson and John's son Wilbur wed and stayed there. John migrated to Nebraska. We have found other Bicknell's near there, but they came from Canada.
