The Bicknell from Canada shown on page 513 in the History and Genealogy of the Bicknell Family, published in 1913, is not John but my great grandfather James Bicknell who emigrated from England to Canada about 1870 with his father James Bicknell, mother Anne Caplin and sister Annie.
I have written a Canadian update to the 1913 publication which will be available soon.
As far as I can discern, there are no other Canadians in the book. It is primarily about the US Bicknells. I have been trying to link us to Zacharie but have not had success as yet.
