One month into the Bickham DNA Project, and we have four participants. Three of these are descendants of George Washington Bickham, a son of Hugh Bickham. Hugh Bickham was born about 1770, married in Kentucky, and eventually settled in Logan County, Ohio. The other participant is a descendant of Richard Bickham, through his son, Thomas Bickham. Richard Bickham was in Burlington, New Jersey, in 1698. We are now in a waiting mode, anxiously awaiting the results from the DNA samples. We do need more participants from other lines.
