Dearborn B. Bickford married Miss Anna Gates in Nov. 1815 (see Onondaga Register, Nov. 29, 1815, p. 3, col. 4).

Anna Gates was the daughter of Nehemiah Gates (abt. 1768-1823) and Phoebe Gates (abt. 1765-1850), both of whome died in Onondaga Co., New York.

Dearborn B. Bickford--often referred to as D.B. Bickford--purchased a tavern in Manlius, NY, from Elijah & Amanda Phillips in 1822, and was also an officer in the New York Militia in Onondaga County.

Is anyone researching this Bickford or Gates family?
