Thomas Bickerton was born in 1845 in England, son of Henry Bickerton a watch finisher. Thomas married Frances Hale and had 2 daughters when they came across in 1871. Alice Bickerton, their youngest was born 6 weeks after their arrival in Saginaw, MI. So I have been told. Frances died before 1900.
Thomas went to Coventry, England married Elizabeth Woodfield (Hassell) dau of George Hassell a gardener, on 29 June 1891 Coventry, Warwick, England. Witnesses were Joseph Hassell (Elizabeth brother), Mary Greenway. Thomas and Elizabeth reside at Whitefair time of the marriage.
Elizabeth and Thomas came back to the US in 1892 residing in Trout Lake, Chippewa, MI.
