My grandmother's brother John Smith (b.@1898) in Preston, Lanc. married Florence "Florrie" Rigby in 1920, who had a son and Harry and a son Austin and a daughter Margaret "Madge" (b. 1926, d.2001) who married Dennis J. Bickerton (living) of Barton, Preston, who had a son John (living), and g-son Oliver (living), and daughter-in-law Jean (living). They are my only connection that I know of to the UK Smiths, Bickertons, Rigby, Rawsthorn, Clitheroe, Leigh, Flanagan, McKearney, McGovern, Billingham, Wilson families of the Preston, Lanc. area. Is anybody out there alo related to these families, alive or deceased.
