Right. And we've since learned that the 1780 date on Thomas is incorrect. It is closer to 1763, and might be 1768 - we're still looking for his parents. ER
PS Lancastershire isn't Northumberland.
John, 1806 was born in Bamburg Parish - can't get more Northumberland than that! It's right on the coast under the Scottish border.
