Bickie, to bad you did'nt get back with me and I would have told you. The Johnson Bickerstaff born in GA and married to Harriet, is Johnson, Jr. son of Johnson Bickerstaff, b. ca. 1768/70 NC. Johnson Bickerstaff, Sr and family moved from GA to AL between 1815 and 1819. Johnson, Sr., was living in Fayette Co., AL in 1830 along with his daughter Mary and her husband.
In 1830 Johnson Bickerstaff, Jr., was living in Walker Co., AL with his brother John L. Bickerstaff. another brother Mitchell applied for land in Walker Co., just a year or two before his death. They all moved to Monroe Co., MS in the early 1830's. The Johnson Bickerstaff b. in TN is the son of John Bickerstaff, brother of Johnson Bickerstaff, Sr.. John and brother Henry moved to TN. They both later moved to Monroe Co., MS ca. 1820. Johnson and brother Robert stayed in GA.
Sorry you feel I gave you wrong info.
