Bickerstaff in Co Longford, Ireland

I recently discovered a Bickerstaff in my family tree
Jane Bickerstaff married Andrew McCloughry in the 1700's
I think they lived at Abbeyderg, Co Longford, Ireland

Also a Bickerstaff family at Lislea, Co Longford probably the same family married into Armstrong family

McCloughry were Highland Scottish Presbyterians who were driven out of Scotland in the early 1600's and arrived in Co Donegal, Ireland. A number of them fought in the Williamite Army leading up to 1690 Battle of the Boyne and afterwards settled in Co Longford.

Trying to find out where Bickerstaff came from and if they have the same history - were they also Williamite soldiers
