Located the land of William S. Bickerstaff and Nancy Elizabeth Thompson, Smith County, Texas. Whoo! Hoo! Have still not been able to locate the graves for this couple. They are thought to be buried somewhere on this land. Does anyone know where the homestead was? I plan to go to Tyler and research the Deed Books this summer.
Would love to share and exchange location and pictures with anyone related to this line. I descend from Wm. and Nancy's son, John Thompson Bickerstaff, and wife, Tenora Carroll.
