Wouldany of you girls/guys havesome info on my G-G-Grandfather Melon A. Bickerstaff b. 1818 d. 1885 TN.. He was the father of my G-Grandfather John Lucky Bickerstaff b 15 Feb 1943 Decatur County MS. d. 8 Nov 1919 Bells TN. I have John Lucky's death certificate. Melons wife was Charlotte Gray b. 1818 d. 14 May 1885.
John Lucky's wife was Julia Alice Brown b. Jan 1853 in Gibson Co. TN. or AL., d. 15 July 1924. Bells, TN..
There has to be some connection between John Lucky of Cotton Gin Port MS and my G-Grandfather. The usage of John, Lucky,
Mitchell Lucky, and Andrew Mitchell and veriations in first and second names between 1795 and 1850 to be of some branches of the same Bickerstaff family.
Thanks for any help,
Lester Marvin Bickerstaff of Texas.
