I have no solid evidence, but there are two events that show a connection to the John Allison family of Augusta Co, Va. 1) A John Allison was surety for the marriage of Susannah and Jacob Bickel in April 1894 in Augusta Co, and 2) there is a record of a land sale by John Allison to Jacob Bickel in Augusta Co.
