Hi,
I am a Bickel and a decendent of David Bickel who married Ellen Morrison. My grandfather was the brother of Henry, his name was George Allen. I have been trying to find anyone who could help me find the rest of the Bickel family. David was a son of Benjamin Bickel who was married to Isabella Morrison. There were 10 children of that union. I have not been able to get back beyond Benjamin who was born 1825 Union Co. and died 9/17/1894 in Venango Co. He is buried in Centerville Cemetery, Venango Co. I hope this is helpful. I remeber my father telling stories about his uncles but, I really don't remember them all. Do you remember the family reunions in Hasson Park in Oil City?
Uncle Harrison died within the past 15 years and his daughter Betty more recently then that. I would love to hear the information that you may have to share.
